Default Heater Core Question

Whats up boys? Hey I just bought a 87 Gt! Its had alotta work done under the hood. So the A/C has been completely removed and heater core has been taken compltely out of the water pump loop. So I re-connected the water lines to the two pipes for the heater core and antifreeze started coming out this little black hole about a foot below where the heater core inlet/outlet is. What the hell is that for and where does it go?

That would be the drain for the a/c system and the reason the heater core was disconnected is b/c it leaks if you haven't already figured it out. The seller didn't mention that?
