Need To Beat: Firebird Formula (LT1), '94 z28 (LT1), and a '96 TA (LT1)
I've raced 'em all so far...actually have beat both the formula and z28 from a roll..(bout 30mph) but from a dig...I get them off the line...then they slowly come..and pass...lol Chaps my ***...
With the mods I have now (I know...not much) Plus a CAI, MAF, TB, and a Trick Flow (street heat) intake...will I be able to beat them?!?!...or should I go a different direction to take 'em out...

Deff with a little more modding you could take them,My brother just got a trans go shift-kit installed today in his 98 gt (auto),And let me tell you the wounders it does,I reccomend you get one.
I think with a CAI and some UDP's you shoud be able to take them..Are they stock??
CAI, MAF, TB, and a Trick Flow (street heat) intake=Pure GM OWNAGE...[sm=gears.gif]

CAI doesnt give you as much power as they claim, i dont care what anyone says.
and as for that, you should be able to take them with those mods, but think about this
save up a little more money and buy a supercharger, why settle for beating them when you could ****ing own them. Just order a supercharger system, look into vortec or procharger. Idk, i prefer centrifugal over roots. comes with everything u need, and wham bam thank you maam, peazeout lt1.

yeah...and therein lies the problem...I'm 17...working Part time...and saving for college. I can't really spend $1,500 on a supercharger..otherwise I would...trust me. lol But I'd just like to do as much as I can For Now...whip up on some z's...and get real nice time at the track... then maybe...after this summer...and maybe by this time next year I'll have enough money saved up for a serious power adder But w/ what I have..plus the tf intake, MAF, TB, CAI and maybe a set of street ets if I can get ahold of a nice pair... could that give me what I need to show 'em why I went w/ a 5.0...instead of a camaro?
