Hey All, Just wondering if anyone ever had issues with Cruise Control no longer working after upgrading Engine. I have built up 306 and never noticed cruise didn't work until i tryed it tonight. always worked before and besides that everything working ok.

not a big deal but nice to have as the car is fully loaded and would rather it working if possible.

any ideas anyone.


car is 1991 Gt.
stock 302 was swapped with 306 built up from oil pan to upper intake.

 

yea my horn cig lighter heat cruise control and light speedo and odometer dont work and i dont know why any of them dont work

 

usually a blown fuse.

sorry im only familour with GM's cruise systems

 

Make sure you have all vacumn lines hooked up because the Criuse works off vacumn too.

 

yea mine was a fuse it had horn, curise control and my rewiered foglights on it it was a 20.

 

yes have same problem checked fuse , fuse is good,goin crazy tryin to figure it out any help would would be very thank full

 

1989 lx 2.3, no cruise, checked fuses ,vaccum hose, all plug s are tight, need help thanks

 

Something as simple as bad brake light bulb. Check vacum dump valve at brake pedal. Pull on cable may be broken where goes into servo. After that servo and amplifier tests.

 

Speed sensor on transmission spin and see what kind of AC voltage it produces.

 

does anybody know were the crusie control control module is located, and what the wireing diagram is,thanks
