Default Short throw shifter....cant decide

I want to put a short thow in my car and dont really know anything about them. What is a good affordable brand? Is it pretty easy to do?

ill name them in order that i think is best to worst, ill put a star beside the ones ive tried....steeda triax*, pro 5.0*, MGW, whatever else and hurst. just opinion on my experiences with each. not tried the MGW but ive never heard anything bad about it yet.

ive not seen that one before. the triax is what you want. ive tried hurst and pro 5.0. hurst just plain sucks! the pro 5.0 was okay till i drove my cousins cobra with the triax. those things are tight man! i ordered one the next day. you can set the handle where you want it either short or taller. its just a smooth, fluid shift. short throw. the second to third shift is just slam tight.

+1 for the pro 5.0, it seems like it's all about personal tastes really, i had the tri-ax and didn't like it...never tried anything else though.

I have a Tri-Ax and like it

most of the feel is in who installs it, adjusts it, etc. My buddy had a tri-ax that felt terrible. Mine feels great.
