What brand of paint did u guys use to paint ur interior black???? Im going to be buying new carpet and door panels and I want something the i can use to paint the center console that will have a good match.

Duplicolor makes intior paint, thats what I used go to your local hardwear store and youll find it.

Cool man thanks for the info i found it. Well I found a kit for the interior that has the sunvisors, headliner, door panles, whole carpet, for like $600 so I might go with that. I havnt decided yet though.

Duplicolor paint? the vinyl paint? is that what you used black snake? i painted my kick pannels and the paint did not want to stick to it. how did you prep yours? did you use primer?

Yea I used Primer and 2 coats of clear. I had the same problem and I put a first coat of sticky compound I forget what its called then 2 coats of primer and 2-3 cpats of paint then the 2 coats of clear.

I used SEM Landau Black and it worked great. Best interior paint you can buy IMO. But it was like 8-9 dollars a can so its pretty expensive. I used DuPont PreSaturated Anti Static Whipes so suck out every last oz of moisture in them.. lightly scuffed them... dupont wipes again, and than paint. Came out great!
