Default all i need...??

im getting ready to put on some 1.7 rr on my 90'. im ordering the crane cams vacuum cast aluminum rockers from JEGS..they r like 200 bucks and they say they come with a shims kit, bolts, rails, and stands.. is that everything i need to put them on.??

and what exactly are rails and stands...?? are the rails or the stands going to hold the pushrods in place..???

or do i have to buy pushrod guideplates?

The rails are the pieces that hold the rocker straight. The stock rockers have them also and the stand is what the rocker sits on. Those sit in the rail and the rockers sit on those. If you put them on, just put the rockers together so they go on like the stockers. You don't need push rod guides either. I just installed my rockers this weekend, same ones. Not a bad install at all, just follow the instructions and you will be alright.

I have the stock ones on, no problem. All you have to do is remove the oil sheild from the one with the oil fill and you will be all good. Buy them

You can also use 2 valve cover gaskets on each side to raise the covers up a little. That's what I'm going to be facing w/ my 1.72's when I get the rest of my engine back together. But removing the baffles from the inside should give you a lot more clearance. good luck.
