so when you are driving it's ok?..if i shut it off,,and then restart it,and take off it does it,but the next time i stop it's fine...
i'm changing the worst one out first..if it clears up..i'll def. let you know.

when I blew my hg and did the head swap, my car started doing the same thing. It sometimes runs fine from a dead stop, but other times it feels like it is very hesitant. Like it has 100 hp or something. I have not done my tune yet and I have not changed the o2 sensors ever. I think it's what my problem is. My CEL comes on and goes off every once in a while. It's hella weird. I think we might have the same problem, or at least a similar one. A lot of people tell me it's the o2 sensors too.
Most of the time it's ok when I'm driving, but every once in a while when I come to a full stop, it hesitates to go, no matter how much gas I give it. I also changed to 92 my fuel since I had some old 87 in it, but it didn't help.

A code reader is only going to give you so many codes at a time, and if he has all of thoes things unpluged or removed than he can not fix the probem unless he puts everything back on. so he will get a egr code 3 or 4 diff smog codes, and i know my code reader will only give me 3 codes at a time, i dont know about the code readers you all have but thats how mine is. So is it running better now?

A code reader with limitations...got it,........but if he does the DIY procedure (DVOM, CEL or test light), that limitation is non existent, the EEC-IV will throw out everything that has been recorded, On Demand codes, Continous Memory Codes, KOER codes, Cylinder Balance codes. Again, my 2¢.

[sm=exactly.gif], reason why I suggested getting more data, to help you id what could be causing the problem.....from the component in charge of setting A/F, timing, ......the ECM. This is the only way to test, verify, compare, confirm, before replacing any parts.

Suppose you spend the money replacing the O2's($$), continue having the problem, and it was a broken O2 ground or signal wire (0¢), or a bad stator sensor in the dizzy (more $$), or........, or........

Grabbem88, my point is you can guess what parts could be wrong and replace them, but guessing can get very expensive, however, it's your choice, your car, your call, your dough. [sm=signs003.gif] man.
