Default front brakes

My car doesnt stop like it should because of mods. I was wondering what would be the best bang for my buck with front brakes to give me some real stopping power. I have no clue what i should go with honestly, so input would be greatly appreciated.

Get some slotted rotors for the front and some better calipers. Maybe a 2 or 4 piston setup.

Anything more specific like a brake kit brand or parts to buy individually to make your own brake kit? Will a corba kit make a signifigant difference?

cobra brakes are killer. im going to try to get some soon. theyre the best way to go for the money. you can find em on ebay. stock cobra brake kits are alot cheaper and just as good as any upgrade you can get for the gt.

cheapest way to get some braking back if you have a wild cam is to get a vaccum canister, but baer brakes rock.

the cobra setup is way overpriced. I can build a much better setup than that for a couple hundred $$ cheaper. if you want to go 5 lug, I can email you everything from the setup I will be running this summer for road racing. 13" C5 'vette front, cobra rear disc.
