and then again, my fuel pressure technically wasnt low....that is if that guage was right. cause if it was right i was running 40psi with no vac

yeah i agree. Im just wondering how long it took to do that. since I tool an 800 mile trip on the 5th and didnt have a single problem, then took a 40 mile trip and then this. but between those trips is when i messed with the FP

Did it ever back fire really bad one time? what is your timing set at?

never backfired, not even once. timing is 14 degrees base.

the temp gauge usually runs right in the middle. after messing with FP it bumped up maybe 20 degrees

in the middle? umm on my stock gauge that is hot. like 230+ because the second line up from 130 is like 190. i know because i have a aftermarket gauge and my stock gauge. i dont trust my stock gauges.
