Mine whines a little bit in 2nd and a little more in 3rd. Car only has 90k on it and my last 95GT had 180k and didn't really whine too much. Who thinks that some good new transmission fluid along with new flywheel, clutch, TOB, pressure plate... will make things quiet??

oh oh, the previous owner? no, this guy was the orignal owner, garage kept, drove it on weekends only and the car is in super mint condition. The leather seats have hardly any cracks in them comparted to what 5.0s normally look like and you could eat off the engine....
I think this guy was a sissy.

mine whines in 1st gear (not in D) but i think thats normal

mine whines really loud in first and second, it sounds like i have a blower

mine just started doing that recently. especially in third. i like it actually, makes me think im running a supercharger!. i think it might be my t/o bearing. primetime5.0, i couldnt help but notice you sig... i am sorry to hear you lost someone at such a young age.

maybe it is just low on fluid. i beat the hell out of my trans it makes a lil noise not much, i get noise resonation (SPELLING?) throught my shifter. but that is it.
