Default I need your advice

I have always liked mustangs and now I have decided to buy a pony, I am looking at buying between an '88 - '93 to play with. I would like to find something that is good shape to start (Im not a body guy). Now this is where I need you guys come to my aide, I don't know all the little things about these year models. Are there any things I should be looking for or staying away from, Common Problems, Mabey anything that is not worth having to fix or to costly if it is broken. Are there any good websites to look at classifieds aside from ebay motors.

Thanks for the help,

Jason Tumbleson

Get a 5 speed, not an auto. Parts are cheap compared to other cars and engines. Good luck!!

don't want to scare you off but, remember, people beat on them,I know I do,still runs awsome though, make sure you get it looked at,I was lucky,it was bone stock, and my 51 year old boss had it from brand new,see if you can find somthing like that and do the mods yourself...

I would try and look for an 89 or higher because, they have mass air and would make it a lot easier to mod instead of doing a mass air conversion on 88 and earlier models.
