you dont need to remove the quad for 275's ive seen it done not even being flipped, just rolling the fender

My car is lowered an inch and a half and I have 275s in the rear with no problem at all. I have 255s in the front and the rub under a hard turn, and tight turning at slow speeds...but nothing bad. And this is on a 17x9 wheel front and rear.

too many factors come into play on this, the offset of the wheels/size of the wheels/brand of tires/the year of the stang/if you need to remove the quads completely/just flip them/roll the fenders etc etc ....everbody seems to have different experiences with this... it would be nice if we could do some sort of write up but it varies so much it's almost impossible. it's a very hard question to answer, best bet would be to take some mesurements and have a wheel shop determine it for you.

Whats the largest tire you can fit on a 8inch rim? I have 235's on back on my 8 inch rim. My fenders are rolled and my quad shocks are history, i think i have a 3 1/2 backset. Any help here?

anything past that and you will have to roll the wheel well lips
or custom rims or other mods.

a good wheel/tire shop should be able to take some measurements
and be able to talk with you.

fitting 315's under there is going to a pretty custom job.

Personally I'm hoping to get about 295's under there with
just a little bit of body work.

I have rolled my fenders, so you think it would be possible to fit 275-285s under there with only the fenders rolled??
