should i just take it in to my local tire shop and ask if they can check for spacers? and if its not that than i need new shocks? wouldnt it be my springs? i thought springs determined how far you bottomed out and shocks just kept u from bouncing?

it's how far in or out the center of the wheel sits, like if the center of the wheel is on the very outside of the rim, or on the inside, think of a truck with duallies, you know how they center of the wheel sits so far in because the two wheels have to touch eachother, now there's a lot of back spacing.

you should be able to see the wheel spacers. its what some people put on cars to make the wheels stick out more. and if theres no spacers than yea the backspacing is wrong. and yea...lol i meant springs, im so mixed up tonight

Ok, sorry for the lines through the picture, I dropped my camera on the concrete floor as I was walking out of the garage :\ ANYWAY.
The first pic has the two spacers laying on the floor, they just sit on the rotor then you put your wheel on, they are 1/4" a piece and I use two so 1/2" of spacers.
The second is of the wheel bolted on, notice how it's on the very outside of the rim, well, there's your backspacing
Third is a shot from inside the rim, now you can really see the back-spacing, now picture this: If I were to move that center to the OTHER side, the close side in that shot, my wheels would stick out another 6 or 7 inches farther than they do now.
Help?

RE: Tires RUBBING Whats problem?
ok i think i get it. So if there arent any of those spacers i am kinda screwed huh? because then that means it is because my rims are offset too far. I think it may be off set too far than because my back rims sit about 1-2 inches farther out than the front, and they are offset inward about 1inch farther in my wheel well. Dang... i Love the way they look poking out like that but the bottoming out is horrible. Is there any ways to fix this without changing my rims? myabe getting airbags for the back so the dont drop so far or spacers to raise the rear up? Would that screw my cornering?

Umm that doesnt sound too easy to do LOL. Anyone have pics of rolled fenders or know how to go about this? Or is this something you definitely should leave up to the prof?
