Porting lower question
How much would it cost to get my lower Typhoon intake ported. Its the restricting element on my engine and i want to get it ported. About much much has this cost you guys? And how much power would it add? Look at my sig for my mods, but the intake is ROUGH and the ports are much smaller than my intake ports on my head. Thanks.

RE: Porting lower question
Yea, im not really looking for any radical port re-shaping or anything, just some smoothing out. I'd do it but the damn burrs and bits cost an arm and a leg a piece and it takes near forever. But if its near 300 bucks i'll do it myself and save the money. Ill prob end up spending $60 on burrs and about 2 days doing it.
About how much would it actually add, i had one guy tell me it added 30hp to his ride. So i know its worth it.

Then i'd end up spending $500 for something i already have...The only difference i've seen between the typhoons and the Edelbrok RPM is it looks like the Typhoon was cast with a rougher sand. Thats it. Everything else is identical.

dude the typhoon is no better than a gt-40. it doesnt flow near as good as an edelbrock rpm or trickflow intake. youll be porting it just match the edelbrock, trickflow, or holly.
