Default New member! Car Help needed!

Hello! I just joined these forums in search of help from more professional voices than my own. I am planning on buying a 1989-1993 Foxbody 5.0 cyl manual Ford Mustang, and would like some tips on buying and resoring, stuff like that. Just things to look for in a good mustang.

Also, when the time arises, I would love to supercharge it. If there is any other tuning or parts that you would suggest go right ahead and lay them on the table. Im not totally lost in car knowledge, I know more than some, but im fairly new to the foxbody scene.

Thank you.

First look for a good car, not something beat up, even if you want to restore the car, you dont want to start with something that was wrecked.

Well I had two 1990 GTs in mind a repaint thats my cousins, thing was built on a monday.(For 2500 stock) and a 1990 Ford mustang GT fastaback, with 25th ann. wheels, for 3500 OBO. Both in grat condition. The reason I chose this car, was because they are cheap to buy even in great condition.

well for 11-12's supercharger is deff. a good start. prolly some heads, cam, intake, exaust, injectors, fuel pump, computer chip. those parts i think should get u fairly close to that range with a descent supercharger. but idk for sure i couldn't get mine under 15 but it's also an 86 so it has them crappy heads and pistons, and no MAF which brings it down a bit. also helps that i suck at launching too.
