ok today sucked. i need so help with whats wrong with my trans. i put it in drive and it will start to move and when i press the gas it just revs. i put it back in park and then in drive again and it still did it. any one know whats wrong?

i dont have one. mods listed below. nothing to the trans though. it was rebuilt 2 years ago.

i dunno. but does it slip like that in reverse and low gears?

Could be a lot of things, torque converter, valve body, shifter linkage, could be a problem with forward clutch. Do you have reverse or manual first or second?

it sounds like you burnt up some clutch packs. take your dip stick out and smell your tranny fluid to see if its burned.

yeah i have 1st and 2nd and reverse. it still does it when i put it in 1st.
