My oil pressure was terrible. When hot it would drop to 9 psi. Last week i put in a new oil pump, pickup screen, crank and bearings. Now am at 50 when on throttle and 40 when at idle(hot).

Mines 60 at idle and 70ish at WFO. I do have a 8 quart oil pan and stuff so that could be the reason why its high..

when your on the throttle, as long as it goes up to 50 or 60 you should be ok

how's the stock oil pressure guage? decently accurate or what?

mine went up to 10 once, when i floored it down a steep hill in 3rd gear. hahaha

When I first crank mine it sits at 90 PSI At idle. After it warms up it sits between 60 or 70 PSI while driving down the road, and 30 PSI at idle. I have a high pressure oil pump and 7qt oil pan.
