Default hesitating throttle

My car when it's idling, and you 'stomp' it a little it hesitates (sputters??) before it finally revs. Now this whole process happens very quickly.

The car is fine once it's revd already, and doesnt seem to have any problems once you've given it gas, but if it goes back down to idle and 'stomp' it...same issue (car being warm or cold).

I put a new fuel filter on it today, and thought it might fix the problem. I use STP fuel treatment with EVERY fillup, and I dont think I got any bad gas.

Do you think I have bad injectors? fuel pump? thoughts?

You should not use, stp, or fuel injector cleaner, or any kind of cleaners in the gas. Is your maf clean? is your tps set right?

no its not a dumb question at all, it is said to be hard on your plugs, it makes them brittle and they turn red with the right stuff. then they dont fire right. so that could be part of our problem. i have a set from using that stuff and they are red to.
