Get a CAI and larger MAF first. The intake won't do you much good if you can't get any air to it.

If race is next saturday, 4/2, then I'd be doing some plugs, checking tune etc. now and not modding car.
I would try and keep things as simple as possible so you can be constent as that is what will win the race.
Check everything, then check it again......

well if u wanna just get the intake..usually it takes 2-3 from summit
well to get to me..and the intake took me 6-7 hours..im 16 yrs old
and my dad was telling me how to do it all..so it took a while

but u should get that MAF because i got the intake first..and then
about 4 months later got the MAF and there was a big difference

Yeah...I was thinkin bout gettin a bigger MAF and TB (w/ CAI) first...but figured the intake would be better than that for now...I'll eventually get everything...just wantin to do what I can real quick...I'll be runnin' w/ a lot of lt1s... -only competition- everything else will be rice...but my cousin/best friend just got a '91 z28 w/ a 350 that was supposedly pretty built up by the previous owner...I gotta show him up at least But I wanted to break into 13's...dunno if I could do that or not though

i think you should get a 65mm tb and 70mm maf with a cai first. i say this because youll be on a limited time schedule here. itll take you 2 hours max to do this, versus 2 days on the intake if youve never done it before. alot less work for the tb maf and cai. just something to think about.

Yeah for someone who hasn't done an intake install with only a week to race day...I wouldn't recommend doing it. If it was me doing it of course i could have it done in time...I'm a master...j/p but if you don't feel confident in doing it yourself in time, then don't do it. Do the MAF TB and CAI.

thats what im saying. itll take at least 3 days just to get it. that leaves 2 to install it. and it would suck if you didnt get it done in time.
