Hey is there any chance that if i do this clocking that the CEL will turn off??? Im starting to think that the dumbass mechanic i took it to put it on WAY wrong, so maybe thats why the car runs like crap.

And what is the best way to clean the MAF and IAC? I had a freind try to clean it with some sort of spray on his SC'ed BMW, and now the whole thing is destroyed. So i wanna make sure if there are any precautions...

Alcohol and a q-tip, but be very careful b/c that resistor will break easily. The MAF should have an arrow on it for direction of airflow so you can make sure it's on correctly.

i dont think that would throw a MIL... all clocking does is slightly change the A/F ratio.

 

Have you had it scanned? That would be the best thing to do. Just guessing pisses you off worse!!
