I say don't waste your money on a C.A.I. or at least not a shiny BBK. You get more benefits from removing the silencer and installing a K&N filter. The C.A.I. is just for looks unless you go for the F.I.P.K from K&N. The bad thing is, you wont get much on just $150 dollars.

Yeah, that's it. For a stock car, that would be a good mod.

Other options:
1--K&N filter $40
2--full tune up [msd wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, oil change/filter] ~$125-140
3--Off road H pipe $150
4--Short-Throw shifter [hurst, b&m, mgw, steeda] $140-170
5--New shift **** $30-50
6--CAI (cold air intake) [JLT true cai is really good, but ~$160, or K&N FIPK (fuel inj'n perf. kit)]

No, the BBK won't come w/ a MAF, not for that price. That's a little steep, but the first one is just the BBK fenderwell kit. the second just looks like an off-brand fenderwell kit, hence the cheaper price.

Clicky

also, look on performancecenter.com for a K&N FIPK for your dad's stang. It has a composite intake pipe which won't absorb heat the same as metal.

you would reuse your old, small one, so that kit wouldnt do much. as for the other kit, it doesnt say what size the MAF is anyway so back to the drawing board, how long till his birthday?
