Default Best Mod...

Well i am new to this form i am usually on jeepforum.com, but anyways me dad has a 5.0L93 mustang and i was wondering what would be the best thing to get him for his birthday? i am going to spend roughly 150 all together, and i am gonna install it myself.
I have been looking into gettign a cold air intake but there is only like 50 different kinds... or i was reading about the overdrive pulleys, i was thinking about the ones from march?
so guys, and girls? what is the best bang for you buck for a completely stock 5.0?

Thanks
Ted

for 150 ide say a k&n cold air setup, and later on a mass air meter, the stock 55mm unit is a serious choking hazard.

save FOr gear...4.10 gears in 5-speed and if in auto 4.30 or 4.10...for N/a but for blown apps then id go 3.90's auto and 3.73 for 5-speed..

What about this kind of intake. i looks like a good idea but also looks like a piece of junk.
also where are a good place to buy the part?
Also is the intake where the cone goes in the fender better? like more airflow?

Thanks...you guys are fast

gears are the best bang for your buck, but like blue oval said, gears are about $300 to install. any other engine mods wont be noticable until you get different heads. i say just get a short throw shifter for $160. or just a full tune up.
