Default Any gains in MSD ign?

Hey all, I have touched everything on my engine, but I still have the stock dizzy and haven't changed the cap or rotor. I was thinking about next week buying a new MSD Pro billet distributor and MSD super Conductor wires. I have the MSD TFI coil, but was wondering if this is a good upgrade and if it does anything for performance.

Anytime you can make the ignition burn hotter, or more efficently, it will help out. I say it is worth doing, but I'm kinda bias. I already have the MSD stuff on my car. Go for it man. You know you want to. Listen to the little devil on your shoulder.

it will be a good supporting mod when you get your supercharger.

might want to get a box to so you can set the rev limiter wherever you like. i prefer crane for boxes: all digital and rev limiter is adjustable with a turn of a screw.

So far it sounds like I will be getting it. Yeah I was thinking about a box, but wanted to know what one was the best. I know MSD is a huge name and a lot of people use them, but sometimes new stuff comes out that is better, but the name MSD keeps those other products covered up, such as the crane, what is everyone's opinion about a new controller box?

I heard the stock dist is just fine but since your getting a SC maybe you will benefit from it. Hold off and just get the cap and rotor until you get the SC.

Yup! And I'm one of them. I have heard the same from a few others. Mine blew 2 modules in 2 weeks. Sent that junk back and put the stocker back in, no problems since. It's prettier than the stock, but no better IMO!

Mine's forced induction and the stock one works just fine. Now I do have a 6al and a BTM, those are worth their weight in gold. The dizzy, waste of money. Spend it somewhere else.

That's odd.
