Default ratech ring gear install kit, think twice!

So today I received my ratech ring and pinion installation kit part number RAT-105K which was supposed to include ring gear bolts as Ratech's website and Summit indicated. Wrong! The ring gear bolts were missing and now my car sits disabled while Summit ships me a new set. I paid extra shipping to get these overnight! Luckily the nice people at Summit will ship me a new kit and open it to verify the bolts are there. Kudos to Summit. To ratech I have no kind words.[:@]

I ordered it yesterday at noon and a set of Ford racing gears. They came today. After pizza and a beer I meandered out to the garage and pulled the axles, carrier, etc off. When I put the ring gear on the carrier, I opened the Ratech box to find no bolts. So at 9:00PM, it's too late for Summit to ship tonight but they will tommorrow, so the parts should arrive Thursday. Mean time, the Lakewood traction bars and Ford racing uppers come tommorrow from Jeg's. Guess since I have nothing to do tommorrow, I'll check the Jeg's parts to see if everything is complete and see if a Ford dealership has the bolts.

My Dad ordered that kit and it had the wrong bearings in it. We just went localy and bought them but were out like $40. Summit would not do anything till we sent the kit back.

That sucks man. Next time... just make sure you have EVERYTHING that you need before you start a project. Good luck w/ it though.

Really!! This was the reply I got from Ratech! Replace the asterics with the appropriate vowels. But this guy John used all vowels there were no asterics.

AJ,
Thanks for purchasing our product. Sometimes things happen, no one is perfect. We would have gladly shipped you the missing part overnight no charge. Additionally, some times boxes are opened at the retailer and parts removed.
Since we do not have a chance to have you as a repeat customer. F*CK Y**!!! *SSH*L*!!!

Thanks, John
