Default wheel spacers

Im thinking about wheel spacers on and i heard that they actually be bad for your car something like you can snap your axle or something im wonderin if this is true

not snap an axel, sheer off lug studs. That and they change the handling characteristics of the car since they change how the weight of the car is distributed on the lugs/wheels themselves (centerline)

wouldn't they help handling? i just bought some 1/2 spacers for the front because i got some 18x9 03 cobras with 245/40 meats.

245 on a 9" wide rim??? don't you mean 275? And no, I mean they could hurt handling, they change the dynamics of the front end with the geometry of the steering and center of gravity.

what are you talking about why wouldn't they fit? black snake has 235/35 on an 18x9 inch rim.

I'd get and am going to get 275 in 9 inch rims for the rear but keep 245s on front.
