pics are kinda dark but that does suck man, I just put my fiberglass hood on without a latch but I got hoodpins. I think its time for you to invest in them.

I know the feeling had the same thing happen to mine.
I had a Body shop fix mine. They pushed it up with a porta power then Put a little bondo and all if better now.

Mine came up at 60 Mph on thehighway. Thank god it was after Midnight.

Mine was from 2 things. 1 I was backed into and tweeked the Radiator support some. Then the aluminum rivet on the latch broke and the hood flew up.

so basically no glass hood without pins,my brothers buddy had it happen to him on the highway also,cracked his windshield.

i got a fiberglass hood with no pins and it hasnt happened to me..

but now after i say that it will probably happen tomorrow morning when i'm running late for work and going down the highway at 85 mph. ...i can see it now.
