Default exhaust problem help plzzzzz

ok. i have a 94 mustang gt and i got a o/r h pipe and super 40 flowmasters on not too long ago. the car sounds awesome except i get this annoyin rattling sound aroun 1,500 to 3,000rpms. i took it back to get it checked out and they did sumthing to it. i can still hear the sound though. what could be causing this? i also hear a little at highr rpms. its really noticeable when i drive by other cars.

Sounds like the resonance problem I have between 1600-2000 rpm, except yours is 'exciting' something in a bigger range. Inspect the bottom side for any loose items that could be vibrating.

Lifters? That's crazy talk. Get a shortened wooden broom handle with one end in your ear and the other on the valve cover. You should hear the lifters clacking away. Try different locations on the covers and have someone rev the engine. Do they sound like what you hear when driving?

check your h-pipe where it passes under the drivers feet area theres a brace there i had a problem where my pipe would rattle against that it was a simmple adjustment to tighten and loosen different parts of the h-pipe in order to make enough clearance just a thought

most likely the tailpipes when they jump over the rear end. my right tailpipe rubs all the time on my 96, despite tightening it.
