I have a carburated 302 and im in need of a new distributor with vac advance any ideas?

I would rather go to NAPA or CarQuest and get something that will last for more than 3 days......
Price isn't so much differant.........

I am with tinman auto zone stuff is not real good. I have had lots of problems with there stuff at a shop I was working at we stoped dealing with them.

This is good to know because I was thinking about forking out the money for an msd distributer. But if napa sells them I'll probably just get one there.

The only good thing about autozone is they can get Fel-pro gaskets at a good price...oh and wipers...

Now as far as msd goes what model would fit?

Is msd the best distributor ? I already have a msd 6al and a msd coil

On a carb'd 302, you're actually better off with a stock distributor than the MSD.
