I got into an accident last week and my 85 5.0 Mustang took a shot to the rear quarter panel. Almost immediately the engine cut off. I understand there is some kind of safety feature built in that cuts off the fuel pump in accidents like this. I am unable to locate any kind of a reset switch, if one exists. It is a hatchback. If anyone has any suggestions or knows of a thread that covered this, please let me know.

not sure on your car but mine is behind the driver side brake light under the plastic panel in the back.

Should be near the right rear tail light inside the trunk. .. .

On my 86 its right next to wear the hatch hooks to the bumper. Its a little yellow button.
