i've got a 302 thats running mid to low 12's. how much NOS is too much for a motor without forged pistons? and if i put a 100hp shot on it how quick should i be running then?

You may not want to run that high of a shot considering it sounds like your motor is pretty much giving you all it has.

The problem with cast pistons are that they dont like to be abused and will give out rather quickly when theyre stressed for any long period of time or after repeated abuse.They just do not take too kindly to being abused.I would maybe drop down to a 50-75 shot to be a little safer.
