Launching and AOD

RE: Launching and AOD
can't do much with a stock converter. you really need a 3000 rpm converter and shift kit, with trans. cooler.
the best i can tell you is to try and launch it off the footbrake against the converter.

if you rear tires can stick good here is what you do.
put your foot firmly on the brake, while the car is in neutral. rev it to 2000 while pressing on the brake pedal. you should feel it going further to the floor. (due to vacuum)
put it in drive and slowly give it gas until you feel the tires start to spin. back off the gas until they stop.
hammer the gas and release the brake at the same time.
this works alot better with an aftermarket converter since you can launch at much higher rpms.

thx alot guys i ddint kno bout the whole vacuum thing imma try it that way, i was just holdin the brake and givin it gas till just b4 the tire spin, but that was kinda weak on the launch, hopefully the brakes being farther down will give a lil harder launch.

i ended up calling an ambulance for him. stupid kids...
if u cant beat a v6 off the line with ur mods then u dont know how to drive. plain and simple
