Default Check Oil light???

Hi guys,

Good news: I fixed the car. from top to bottom WOOTWOOT!!! It runs like melted ice cream now and thank god.

Anyway, a wierd thing came up though. The check oil light came on BUT i have fairly new oil and its not missing anything??? What could be the reason for the light?

Happen to anyone?

run's like melted ice cream... that's a new one

maybe the gauge is bad. i know for my car the low coolant light comes up all the time but it has plenty of it... the gauge is just a little corroded

I heard that. I just got my motor back in my 88 convertible after missing 2 beautiful summers and thought the battery was stone cold dead, then I though the motor was seized, I thought everything that could possibly go wrong did. . . then I realized i forgot to hook up the STARTER CABLE! Talk about stupid. . .
