Dude...I went from straight side pipes to full flowmasters exhaust. When I started the car before I got the exhaust it would damn near rip my chest open. So I got used to that. Then got the new exhaust and started it for the first time and drove it. It was QUIET AS HELL! That was about 2 months ago I got the muffs...now they're finally broken in and then sound awesome! So...yes I would say they need breaking in.

Yea, it's not my DD either so I gotta take it on some trips or something. I'll try to get a sound clip up this weekend.

my flows and my friends flows both needed to "break in" and really, LTs are quieter?! Never heard that before.

You guys need to stop calling it "breaking in" lol when I think of breaking in I think of breaking in a cam or gears, etc. Just say they get louder w/ time

hahaha you guys really crack me up. mufflers needing broken in yea right. Dan yes my car is a 5spd. it was an auto but i got rid of that pos haha.
