Default question about gt40 and gt40p heads

Ok which one is aluminum? also is it true the that p heads dont have the holes for the air injection system?? What are the valve sizes.
I am suppercharging my 92 5.0, need to decide if these heads will be worth it or not, thanks!

both heads are iron. the P heads flow better....in fact, they flow almost as much as the X heads (aluminum).

Doesnt sound worth it to me... I would just go with a set of AFR's if you have the cash.

The P's flow really well for what they are...stock Exploder heads.

..and since you can usually get them in great shape for under $300, I'd say go for it. You will need a valve spring kit for them to be on the safe side...especially if you're dropping a cam in it.

Yeah, but they aren't hard to find like they used to be. Most long tubes will work on them and so will BBK unequal shorty'sor FRPP shorty's.

I got the crane kit from summitracing.com for $130 for my E7's (I know, but I'm a broke ***...), but I'm pretty sure they'll work on the GT40's and P heads as well.
