yup and those yates heads are better flowing, they are nascar heads and they flow alot at .700 lift, you can find those heads and intake on ebay, but they are better than afrs.

HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND WHAT YOUR ARE PLANING TO DO. A CAM WITH .700 LIFT WILL NOT BE VERY STREETABLE. AND IF YOU ARE PUTTING A VERY GOOD FLOWING HEAD ON YOU WILL NEED TO UPGRADE EVERYTHING. FOR A STOCK MOTOR JUST LOOKING FOR EXTRA HP I WOULD GO AFR OR TWISTED WEDGE. I HAVE STAGE 1 PORTED TWISTED WEDGE ON A 331. THEY FLOWED 309 AT ONLY .600 LIFT. AT .600 LIFT MY CAR IS STILL VERY STREETABLE AND MY CAM IS STILL HYDRAULIC ROLLER.

ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO SPEND.

I DONT EVEN KNOW IF YOU CAN GET THEM ANYMORE. AND AS FAR AS CLEARANCE ON THE HEADS , I HAVE REVERSE DOME AND NOTCHED PISTONS, MY MOTOR IS BUILT FOR SPRAY OR BOOST, SO MY COMPRESSION IS ONLY 9-1. I RUN NA FOR DURABILITY REASONS AND MY MOTOR STILL MADE 440hp. I WOULD BUY ANOTHER DSS SHORT BLOCK IN A HEARTBEAT. THEY ARE SECOND TO NONE IN MY OPINION
