badly need new tires.. help!
ok guys.. so i've come to the conclusion that these tires on the stang i just bought are horrible - most notably in the rain. i need opinions on what a good, economical (under $100) tire is for daily driving - dry or wet traction. i've heard the KDWs are good.. but not so economical for me. anyone heard about the bfg g-force sports? i'm also torn about what size to get. i've got pony wheels and have thought about either 225's all around, 245's all around, or 225 front/245 rear. any advantages to any of these combinations? i know about how i should get the same size if i want to be able to rotate them, but what about performance/handling? are there really any major differences?

yeah, the KDWS are a good price actually in the 225 on tire rack... i think $98/tire. but from what i read in the reviews, the treadwear isn't so great and they don't fair well in winter conditions. i'm not going to buy an all season tire if it's not gonna help me all season. anyone else have any other reccomendations? and what about the tire size question i had?

hate to brake it to you but you get what you pay for in tires.
hard to get an even half way decent tire for these cars for under $100.
I've got Yokohama's YK420, great long lasting all weather tire. but again they're about $120
think it ran me right at $800 installed with damage protection warranty and tax and everything.

I had kdws on my v6 and they performed awesomely in 6 inches of snow. I was at school and had to drive a hour home and by then there was 6 inches of snow on the road. If I didn't drive crazy they kept traction and didn't have a problem.
