Explorer Rear Calipers

Explorer Rear Calipers
Hello all, I am using a ford motorsport rear disc brake conversion kit for a ford 9" rear end and the kit is based off of a 1996 ford explorer. I have everything installed but I think I have a problem. I have brake fluid seeping from the fitting that screws into the explorer brake hose. Everything is tight and secure but my master cylinder keeps going empty for the rear portion. My mustang is a 1984 and has traditional brake line flare. Someone told me that the ford explorer of that time period uses a bubble flare in the brake hose. They said I needed a 3/16-m10x1.0 adapter to go from regular flare to bubble flare. Is this possible? Does the explorer brake hose use the bubble flare?
Thanks in advance, Dave

Yes, I replaced them and when I noticed they were leaking I replaced them again thinking that was my problem. I have normal flare going into the brake hoses and if someone could tell me what flare is on the explorer brake hose I might be able torule out that, thanks for the thought though

I guess your gonna have to use duct tape then. Try calling Ford racing or maybe check out there website www.fordracingparts.com. They can point you in the right direction. I'm assuming there the ones that sold the kit to you in the first place.
