My exhaust once again...
Alright so this is what is up, got bbk headers, x-pipe w/ hi-flo cats, super 40's, but still go stock pipes going back from the mufflers. Now is it illegal to just cut them and turn them down in Cali? I heard that the exhaust has to clear from under the car.

if you can pass emissions then it might be legal... i not california is real tight about it.
also not sure about the noise part it depends where you are from. if the exhaust is over a certain decibla reading then it's too loud and they will ticket you. you'd be better off with an aftermarket system

I run mac dumps and havent got into trouble yet... I even got caught street racing, and when the pulled me over they told me to pop the hood, they were checking for any illegal stuff. He seen my dumps, and said they were illegal. also this is what he told me was illegal..even if they have the smog numbers on them or not...I bypassed egr coolant lines...illegal, lower control arms...illegal, BBK cold air intake...illegal, headers...illegal... h-pipe w/ hi flow's...illegal even with the smog numbers, He said any modification done to the car is illegal...but he could have been lying to try and get me into more trouble...IDK

that's rediculous... next thing he'd say was the car itself was illegal.
if they have that sticker... not sure which one. but if it's there then it's legal in california.
i'm pretty sure the CAI was legal
