I'm Stumped
Three problems
1) Ok well first off I redid my igntion with cap rotor wires and plugs all brand new, then I already had the MSD blaster coil and it started missing at higher speeds yesterday on the freeway.
2) The car shuts off out of no where. I try to start it back up but nothing until after about a minute or so of waiting. I think I am not getting spark because when it finally did stat up I heard a loud pop in the exhaust which would be gas in the exhaust.
3) I'm running rich. But there is no check engine light so I dont think it is the O2's

I had that same problem to the T. It was the pick up in my distributer. I dont know if that is wats wrong with yours but you might try replacing it

Ok well It has a gt 40 short block 302. Trick flow heads streat heat, track heat upper and lower intake manifold. 75 mm bbk throttle body, 80 mm gren. maff, 24 lbs injectors, bbf fuel pressure reg, 190 lph fuel pump, trick flow stage one cam, 276 dur 511 lift. ford motorsport 1.6 roller rockers stud mount. bbk headers. msd 6a-BTM ignition system with boost control. No cat converters. 2 chamber flows. ect. everything has worked great for about two years now, but I just installed the powerdyne last week. And to be honest I dont know if something is wrong with it or not.m It is a little stubly of the line you really have to get the rpms up to leave from a stop. It does have 327 gears which may be a little to tall. but on the freeway at about 2k rpms in fifth it really shudders the whole car, once you get above 3k it rips. I dont hear any pinging which is good but I have not had the boost control under 2 degrees retard yet. Im running 91 supreem with a can of octane boost. So I really dont know. I think Im gonna have to break out the snap on scanner at work and check the misfire counter. If you have any ideas let me know

I dont have a TFI on my car. There is nothing on the dist. and when I looked in the haynes manual it says nothing of it. I looked for TFI and thick film ignition.
