Hi...I have a 93 GT Conv w/ auto o/d trans......while starting out from a stop the tranny will shift through all the gears correctly but when it goes into o/d it will act as if I took my foot off the accelerator completely or hit the brakes.It will eventually get back up to speed.Also 50% of the time it will not kick down into "passing gear" when I floor it while driving.This is something that happened all of a sudden.It was operating normally and then all of a sudden it started doing it one day.Fluid levels are fine.

Check your TV cable,sounds like it needs adjusting. The cable will stretch over time and cause alot of strange tranny problems. It canbe adjusted at the throttle body, make sure there is no slack in the cable and that it moves freely with the throttle.</P>
