Default replacing plastic cowl piece

I need to replace the big plastic cowl area piece that houses the windshield squirters (is there a technical name for these?), the piece that runs all the way across the windshield down to the hood. The idiot that had the car before me tried to put on these retarded custom squirters that have lights and crap in them (and didnt even finish installing them), and plus the plastic piece is all broken and cracked. Do they make a replacement for this in the aftermarket, or do i need to find one at a junkyard? We dont have many good yards around here so i'm hoping you guys know of an aftermarket replacement...its for a '95 GT convertible BTW.

If you want to eventually put mechanical gauges on your car (the ones that need to be outside, i.e. Fuel Pressure or oil pressure) the is a company that actually sells the plastic cowl with gauge pods in it. Instead of having to put those metal cups. I think the name of the company is Gauge Concepts. Or something like that. Don't have it personally but I've heard good things.

the gauges do not have to be outside of the car, fuel pressure i think should be, but oil pressure i think is some what ok inside the car.

Electric gauges yes but not mechanical gauges. Any mechanical gauge that needs to actually flow a substance that is flamable like fuel or oil needs to be put outside. It's a fire hazard.

You can either try a junkyard or 50resto.com I know that they have them but they are like $50 bucks. Go to a junkyard and get one for $5.

yeah, the only problem with getting one from a junkyard is that it probably wont be in much better shape then the one i'm taking off. 11 years of maine winters tends to destroy a car, especially one in a junkyard.

http://www.abcexclusive.com/mustangs_home.htm If it doesn't bring you directly to the page search in the Msic. section. There is a custom vent cover, OE vent cover, and a smooth vent cover. There you go.

Not true about the whole junkyard thing.... they bring Stangs in almost DAILY. I found a 4 banger w/ a PERFECT motor/trans/interior/suspension, etc.. It had been in the junkyard for 2 hours. The car was rearended but everything was still perfect.
