crazyfast, considering the price of gas, and the mileage I get, I probably won't be driving out to the west coast anytime in the near future. Now...if George Dubya would say screw the caribou, and drill Alaska...you never know.
5.0wot...my tires are 275/50/15's, and I had to "massage" my inner fenders with a 5lb. ballpeen hammer to stop the rubbing. I've heard some guys say they didn't have to with the 15x8's. Like Tim said, to get the big ten inchers in there, I'm sure you'd probably be doing the same.

Haven't got to take it to the track with the turbo setup yet...and it's killing me. My clutch has officially removed me from it's Christmas card list already. The current tranny is in great shape, and I don't want to grenade it just to get some times. I'll be selling it as a full swap in order to go to an automatic.
Like I mentioned before, I ran 8.30's in the 1/8th last year. I'm guessing the car was making 260hp, if that, so I'm hoping for low 7's. My main problem is going to be getting 508tq to the ground. I'll probably switch to some Mickey Thompsons, and if the funds are available, work on the suspension a bit more. My buddy who put the kit in thinks if it hooks, it'll hit 6.90's. I think that's a bit optimistic, so I'm not holding my breath. Plans are in the works for an auto (looking at a built powerglide this weekend). Gonna launch the car in the boost off a transbrake, and let her eat.

I'd say you'll definitely have to remove the quads, but if you've got aftermarket LCA's, you don't need them. Don't forget to pick up some undercarriage coating to spray over where you've beat the crap out of your inner fenderwells.
