alright i got a 90 lx that is has a rotten headliner, i believe that is why my car is smelly... anyways i have a leek coming from my sunroof, to fix that i have to take the liner off. what i want to know is if i have to remove the sunroof to get the liner out, and if anyone has been able to find a new(er) headliner with a cutout for the sunroof. i havent been able to find any :/ thnx.

Buy one that doesn't have the cutout and cut it youself. I was thinking of doing that for my t tops.

bah, no way im paying 140$ for a new pice of cardboard. has anyone made their own, they dont look that hard to make...?

Shifty, I've done lots of custom work over the years and have dealt with this exact thing many times. Go to your local auto upholstry or fabric store and buy "stretch fabric" some people call this stuff stretch carpet. Buy some 3M spray adhesive for fabric applications and go nuts. It is super easy to manipulate around corners and ridges etc. The carpet literally stretches so it makes it easy to work with.

go to 50resto.com and get a new headliner that u have to cut it takes more work but they have ones with a plastic backing instead and replace your seals on the sunroof i had the same problem with it leaking and it ruined my headliner
