RE: Clunking Under ENGINE???
if you only hear it when you're turning it could be an upper strut mount or any steering linkage. i dont know about a motor mount so much, i think you would hear that more on acceleration or decel. raise your front wheels off the ground and shake the front end. grab a each side of the tire and shake it back and forth, then grab the top and bottom and do the same. if you feel any play when you're holding the sides its probably a inner tie rod. You sway bar end links could be very possible too. Check out all the bushings on your sway bar and end links. you probably wont be able to see the strut mount. i know my struts make some crazy noises..along with half of my other suspension components.

if its doing it when u turn check ur balljoints, and sway bar bolts, i had the same prob, when i would turn it would make a clunking noise, so i thought it was ball joints went and bought them, when i got ready to change them to my surprise it was just the sway arm bolt, the head had snaped off and just the studd was there and would rock up and bang!! just a thought hope it helps!!
