Default Lightning Engine Swap

Ok, so I know this guy who is trying to get me to buy his 00 Lightning Engine. It's got very low miles and was always kept up, and never raced or anything like that.

He'd sell it to me with all the acc's, computer, supercharger, etc. No transmission though...

What kind of transmission would this thing take?
How hard is it to swap in a Mustang?
What about all my stuff like...power steering setup, A/C, Alt, and other electrical items?
Would my suspension be able to handle this bigger engine?

How much should I allow to spend on a swap? Labor is free for me, so just let me know about $ on parts.

I need all your help to make my decision!!!

muscle mustangs and fast fords has a project car called project frightening.... that's basically what they did, and they cut a huge chunk of hood off the car to make it fit, and the blower sticks up about 6 inches over the stock hood.... check out their website for more details

i think you might have to use an AODE the electronic version of the AOD or the E40D the big *** ones they put in the expeditions.. i doubt the E4OD would fit though.. that thing is humungous.. lol

a lightning transmission =) sadly the 5.4 bellhousing is a bit different... and no stock 5.4 tranny(auto or manual) will ever handle that thing.

the AOD dosnt fit up? werent lightnings made in the same year as the fox?

if it does match up, invest in a rebuilt/race-ready AOD.

if they're built right, they last longer than anything else..
