oo lol..ya when i got mine i put it on and everything
take it for a ride..and its backfiring, not accelerating
so me and my bro are there for an hour trying to
fix everything..put the stock one back on and its
fine..so we look at the color code and its the wrong one

lol yeah thats a bitch. it seems a lot better now though, the other day when it was raining it was hesitating really bad in the low RPMs and hiccuping when i was going along normally (i had also just jump started it, that might have had something to do with it...left my stupid lights on). But yesterday in the sun it ran pretty good, still a little hesitation under 2400 but not too bad. I'm going to try the clocking thing too if the color code matches up.

ya mine was doing the same thing..hicupping but when it idled it was perfect
we couldnt understand..haha ya i've left my headlights on a couple times

just to clarify, when you say "back of the housing" you mean on the MAF housing right? not the aluminum intake tube?

ya its on the housing..you know where u slide the little wires from the electronics
it should be on the back of that little tube..if there is no color its "clear"

where did you order it from?

and can u still use ur CAI?
because when i put my C&L w/ their tube to the TB
i couldnt maneuver the BBK piping into the fenderwell
so i left it off and have it sitting at my house[&:]

i ordered it from pro3 industries (partshopper.com). I got the whole C&L MAF kit, but it doesnt go into the fenderwall so technically its not a cold air kit. here is a pic:

it came with a plastic shroud to put over the filter that directed air in from the fender but it looked cheesy so i left it off.

ya thats pretty much how mine is..i wanna put it in the fenderwell
but it looks decent how it is now..it just i have 2 CAI in my dads house
ima figure something out
