Default The best intake?

If im building a 10-1 compression 331 will the cobra intake support 400 HP? if not what would be the best choice?

if you're going to spend the money to build a 331 dont bother getting a cobra intake. i dont think it would handle 400 horsies. I'd go with a victor intake from edlebrock. trick flow would be good too. i wouldnt bother with a cobra intake or a gt-40 intake.

edelbrock rpmII intake and rpm II heads. perfect setup IMO. 1500-6500 power range.

does the performer RPM flow very well? I've never seen a chart for it or anything. I have the Systemax..the guy i bought it from switch to a Victor Jr EFI, but his set up is for drag racing more than street driving. I think the systemax would be a good choice too ..especially if you decided to put some kinda of forced induction on it.

My friend is going into the 10's with Edelbrock heads and Edelbrock upper and lower.... I guess they have to flow pretty good...

yea the victor jr is a pure race intake. i have vic jr. heads and im going with the rpm II intake. the rpm II would work great with a 70mm tb and rpmII heads.
