You can make it work but it's not a bolt on and go type thing. Plus, you'd need a matching one for the other side.

I just bolted mine in. I had the louvers like your 81 has...

There is a difference in the interioir panels where as the panel won't hug the window as close with a 87-93 1/4 glass...

I forgot to mention that I had to cut the trim short that goes from the front of the door by the mirror to the glass, otherwise the window won't go in at all..
