Why does my A/C suck?
My air conditioner is horrible. It blows cool air, but it doesn't get nearly cold enough to even bother turning it on. My 88gt had the same problem, is it just the 302s A/C that is crappy? My 98gt had freezing cold air. Is there anything I can do to make it colder without getting a new A/C unit?
pressure could just be low... you have an R-12 system which sucks because you HAVE to go to a shop to have them recharge it. You could get it converted to R-134A so you can do future servicing yourself.

r-12 is like..20 bucks a gallon i believe. in missouri it is anyways. I would defintaly convert to r-134 but you'll have to replace some stuff to do that. the reason 5.0 had leaks is because r134 is less dense than r12, making it lighter. the small leaks he had when he switch wouldnt have been noticible with r12. r134 is just able to seep out of smaller cracks and holes in the lines because its so less dense.
your ac probably isnt that cold because you need to get it charged. i'd take to a lube shop and have them do it. it shouldnt be too much.
