I got a great deal on a B&M 2400 RPM holeshot stall convertor for 280 bucks! Does anyone know anything good about this stall? Is it a lockup or non-lock up?

in an aod the converter locks whenever you it third gear.basically the two sides lock together to elimante all slippage, reduced heat, and increase gas mileage.

turbo cars love lock up because of the extra boost that can be created.

so a lock up locks the 2 side of the converter togeather? so there is no slipping. but this only happens in 3rd gear?

on a stock aod yes. it locks in when you hit third and also stays locked in in fourth.

it will unlock again once you drop into 2nd or 1st.
